Many have described the Massachusetts experience with health reform as a bellwether for implementation on the national stage. With the new health insurance mandate in Massachusetts, over 98% of the state’s legal residents now have health insurance. The second part of this session will draw insight from the experience of health reform in Massachusetts and how that reform, coupled with state budget challenges, have changed the way STD prevention and control operate.
