07/10 - present -- CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow, Philadelphia Department of Public Health, Philadelphia, PA 09/09 - 05/10 -- Intern, Office of Public Health Practice and Bureau of Early Intervention, New York State Department of Health, Albany, NY 06/09 – 08/09 -- Epidemiology Intern, Erie County Department of Health, Buffalo, NY 1/13/09 – 1/14/09 -- Recorder/Reporter, Minority Health Disparities Summit, NYS Department of Health, Albany, NY Analyzed dataset of gonococcal antimicrobial resistance outcomes and developed health alert for Erie County, recommending revised gonorrhea treatment in response to increased antimicrobial resistance (06/09-08/09) Created PID surveillance process utilizing medical diagnosis, treatment, and physical exam findings to investigate underreporting of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) through medical record review in two Erie County Emergency Departments (06/09-08/09) Presented oral presentation at North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecologists 2010 Annual Meeting (4/16/10), and 5 poster presentations at National Conferences (03/2010 - 6/2011).
