Biographical Sketch:
Norine Schmidt is the Senior Program Manager of the Infectious Disease Section in the Department of Epidemiology at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She is responsible for the implementation and management of epidemiological studies on STIs and HIV in urban populations as well as collaborating on study design, development and funding. Ms Schmidt has also served as an evaluation consultant for NGOs in the New Orleans area. She is coauthor of 10 publications relating to HIV, STIs and family planning and has had numerous presentations at scientific meetings.
