Biographical Sketch:
2008-present: Epidemiologist, Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Center for STI Prevention, Center for TB Control and Prevention, Baltimore, MD. Assists senior epidemiologist in collecting and managing surveillance data for sexually transmitted infections in Maryland. Prepares reports of STI incidence and trends for state and local STD program staff, and other audiences. Assists Division Chief in other program-related areas. Coordinates TB program evaluation efforts. 2005-07: Research Assistant, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Department of Epidemiology, Baltimore, MD. Performed literature reviews, analyzed data, and performed other tasks supporting research conducted by professors in the area of HIV/AIDS. 2002-04: Program Associate, CSR, Incorporated, Arlington, VA. Developed and implemented interview protocols, and analyzed data for various customers, including HRSA and NSF. 2001-02: Student Researcher, New York City Department of Health, TB Control Program, New York, NY. Collected and analyzed data for a study on tuberculosis treatment interruption.
