Biographical Sketch:
2008–Present -- Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine and Department of Public Health Sciences, Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Hershey, PA 2005–2008 --Research Scientist, Bureau of Sexually Transmitted Diseases Control, New York State Department of Health, Albany, NY Conducting research on infectious diseases epidemiology including HIV infection, STD, and malaria infection in developing countries; developing research methods to study health disparities and social determinants of health; supervising medical students on their medical student research projects (2008-present). Responsible for studying epidemiology of STD and evaluating public-health program performance for STD control (2005-2008). Author or coauthor of 6 publications relating to STD/HIV epidemiology and disease control. One publication has been cited by the CDC in the program recommendation. Principle writer and presenter for 7 national scientific conferences.
