Biographical Sketch:
Shana Cash, MPH, CHES, has worked for Health Care Education & Training, Inc. for the past five years as the Coordinator of the Region V Infertility Prevention Project (RVIPP). In this role, Shana is the liaison between the six IPP state alliances, the RVIPP advisory committee, CDC, and community groups. She is also a member of the National Chlamydia Coalition (NCC). Shana acts as a resource for training and technical assistance throughout the region. She also plans and reviews all training and educational events offering continuing education contact hours for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES). Shana represented Michigan’s Infertility Prevention Project at the 2006 National STD Conference by presenting Reaching Adolescents – Michigan’s Infertility Prevention Screening Project and was involved in the development of a project that was presented at the 2008 National STD Prevention Conference entitled Improving Regional Infertility Prevention Project (IPP) Data Quality and Completeness.
