Biographical Sketch:
September 2011- September 2012: ASPH/CDC Allan Rosenfield Global Health Fellow; Division of Global HIV/AIDS; Windhoek, Namibia. September 2008- September 2010: ORISE Fellow; CDC, Division of STD Prevention, Behavioral Interventions and Research Branch; Atlanta, Georgia. For multiple research projects, I developed the study design and methodology; analyzed quantitative data in SAS and SPSS; coded qualitative data in NVivo; organized results in tables and figures; composed manuscripts; prepared conference abstracts; and delivered oral presentations. Coordinated a four-person team to develop the research questions, methodology, and completion plan for a national report on STD program activities. Conducted two systematic literature reviews, which involved searching PubMed for relevant articles, developing inclusion criteria, organizing articles in EndNote, summarizing the methodology and major findings of the included articles, and developing conclusions drawn from cross-study comparisons. Facilitated meetings and prepared materials for the DSTDP evaluation work group.
