Family and Community Medicine Resident (Physician), June 2005 – June 2008 University of California at San Francisco / San Francisco General Hospital, San Francisco, CA Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer (Medical Officer II), June 2008 – June 2010 Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion, CDC, Atlanta, GA Medical Epidemiologist (Medical Officer III), June 2010 – present Division of STD Prevention, CDC, Atlanta, GA Propose and conduct epidemiologic research on sexually transmitted, bloodborne, and other infections. Inform national evidence-based policymaking. Areas of expertise include HPV vaccine implementation and access to clinical health care services for sexually transmitted diseases. Various awards for leading and participating in local, regional, and international outbreak investigations and emergency responses. Author or coauthor of 25 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals or MMWR, primarily regarding infectious disease epidemiology. Numerous presentations at scientific meetings.
