Biographical Sketch:
Frank Strona, MPH, is part of a growing movement of public health leaders who see the role of technology, social media and staying "state-of-the-art" as integral to creating health change in communities when partnered with diagnostic testing and clinical visits. His portfolio of projects included smartphone applications for sexual risk assessment, interactive network sites and being part of the development group for National Internet Partner Services and Outreach guidelines. He continues to look at new ways to increase HIV testing, access and engagement to care, while shaping the minds of the SJSU Health Science students into seeing beyond the brick & mortar walls to a new online environment for health.
