Biographical Sketch:
I have worked at the Division of STD Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for over a year, analyzing legal issues related to the practice of expedited partner therapy (EPT). Prior to this, I interned at the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA), analyzing legal issues related to the licensure and discipline of health care providers in the state of Kansas. My experience at KSBHA is highly relevant to this educational activity, as the primary legal issue with EPT is the potential for licensure issues of providers if they practice EPT where it is not legal.
