Biographical Sketch:
Georgia Department of Public Health Atlanta, GA STD Program Consultant, 07/09-Present (Department name change) •Under limited supervision of Section Director, responsible for providing training and technical assistance in the Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) programs in the state and local health departments. •Contributes to the planning, development, and implementation of effective STD Prevention programs; evaluates districts programs for compliance with state and / or federal treatment and partner notification guidelines. •Responsible for writing developing and monitoring key performance indicators; coordinating internally with other programs to assure quality improvement projects occur at the state level. •Provide additional support to districts with writing and implementing local quality management plans, participates in grant writing and the RFP contract process. •Organize and conduct communicable disease screenings in the state of Georgia •Analyze data and surveillance for disease intervention and prevention activities.
