Biographical Sketch:
2010 - present, Epidemiologist, Georgia Department of Public Health, Atlanta, GA 2005 - 2010, Sexually Transmitted Disease Epidemiologist II, Metro Public Health Department of Nashville/Davidson Co., Nashville, TN Conduct routine and non-routine epidemiologic studies that data collection, cleaning, and matching , advanced analysis, mapping and interpretation related to the prevention, detection and surveillance of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and HIV Prepare and disseminate written reports and presentations that describe pertinent information related to sexually transmitted diseases for public health practitioners, policy makers, and the community Evaluate STD program goals and objectives and provide recommendations for program direction and implementation of evidence-based interventions Manipulate and analyze STD and HIV/AIDS surveillance data including (but not limited to) matching with administrative and clinical databases, and geographic information systems files Author or co-author of 2 peer-reviewed publications related to syphilis transmission and programmatic interventions.
