Biographical Sketch:
Shelli Doll, Project Manager in the Center for Data Management & Translational Research at the Michigan Public Health Institute, has over 15 years experience in project coordination & management, coalition building and program development. Shelli has worked at the Michigan Public Health Institute for the past 13 years on a variety of programs including sexual risk taking, adolescent sexuality education, school health programs, traumatic brain injury and crime victims’ services. In her role as Project Manager she currently oversees the CDC’s Project Connect initiative, which is a program that targets at-risk adolescents in urban school settings in the City of Detroit and links them to a range of reproductive health care providers. Shelli also provides program support and project oversight to the Statewide Traumatic Brain Injury Services and Prevention Council and sub-committees: training, prevention, data & policy, also coordinating the TBI statewide needs assessment and state action plan. Shelli has also worked with various coalitions by providing them with assistance in program development, implementation and evaluation to meet established grant guidelines. She has also coordinated the Michigan Abstinence Program and assisted with the Michigan Model for School Health Evaluation Project and managed the evaluation of a school-based health education program.
