Biographical Sketch:
2009-Present, Public Health Advisor, Georgia Department of Public Health, CDC, Atlanta, Georgia Provide technical assistance and advice on all STD Prevention activities; which include program operations, partner services, community health education, quality assurance of prevention services, and staff development. Provide oversight, monitoring and direction to state and local Disease Intervention Specialists. Perform audits such as pouch, field, and case management audits on team members, assign work, and assess in work performance. Advise health department personnel on the latest techniques on case identification, case findings, investigation and other prevention measures as well as evaluate the effectiveness of activities and services of team members with respect to prevention and treatment goals and objectives. Served on Grant Panel Reviews for CDC.
