•Involved in the study that examined the distribution of Chlamydia and Gonorrhea home diagnostic kits for IWantTheKit.org by assisting in generating maps using Geographic Information Systems software and maintaining the address database
•Performed laboratory techniques, including tissue culture, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), gel electrophoresis, and microscopy
•Worked with laboratory equipment, including MagnaPure Robot Extraction, PCR thermocyclers, and 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System
