1986-87 --General Practitioner, Private Practice, Kinshasa, DRC. 1987-92--Medical Researcher, AIDS Project, CDC, Atlanta, GA and Zaire Ministry of Public Health, kinshasa, Zaire. 1995-96 --Research Field Coordinator, Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana. 1996-00 --Research Associate, Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana. 2000-01 --Epidemiologist, First Health Services, Nashville, Tennessee. 2001-04 --Research Associate, Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana. 2004-Present -- Assistant Professor of Research, Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana. Co-investigated the perinatal transmission of HIV in Kinshasa, Zaire, 1987 to 1992. Implemented a school-based chlamydia and gonorrhea screening and treatment program in public high schools, 1995 to present. Co-investigate the epidemiologic role of Mycoplasma genitalium as a sexually transmitted pathogen, 2004 to present. International collaborator in integrating epidemiology and mathematical modeling to investigate the impact of interventions to control sexually transmitted diseases, 2008 to present. Author or coauthor of 25 publications primarily relating to HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases. Numerous presentations at scientific meetings.
