Biographical Sketch:
I am an internist, actively receiving HIV clinical training, and a research fellow. My research and clinical focus are in HIV prevention and treatment, with a focus on substance abuse and partner notification. I have been involved in several projects over the past few years, including an effort to understand barriers to the implementation of parnter notification in Connecticut, which is the content of our submitted abstract. I am also invovled with secondary data analyses of the Veterans Aging Cohort Study, focusing on opioid analgesic prescribing and the association with clinical outcomes and patient symptom experiences. I am a collaborator on intervention work focused on decreasing alcohol consumption for vulnerable patients. Pertinent Peer-Reviewed Manuscripts: Edelman EJ, Gordon K, Justice AC.
