2007 to present -- State Family Planning Nurse Consultant, North Carolina Division of Public Health, Raleigh, NC
2004-2007 -- Graduate Research Assistant, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH
2001-2004 -- Assistant Professor - Community Health, The Medical College of Ohio, Toledo, OH
Currently represent Family Planning in the Infertility Prevention Project (CDC) and am responsible for disseminating current information on screening guidelines for CT/GC and other STDs to all family planning clinics located in all 100 counties in state.
Principal writer and presenter for 20 local, state and national presentations on reproductive health, STDs and pregnancy prevention.
Serve as medical accuracy reviewer for PREP grants for Office of Adolescent Health and also grant reviewer for CMS grants at the national level; and grant reviewer for Teen Pregnancy Prevention, Women's Health and Maternal Health programs at the state level.
Author or co-author of four peer reviewed publications relating to reproductive health.
