Biographical Sketch:
Dr. King began her CDC/ATSDR career in 1997 as a Mathematical Statistician with Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry/Division of Health Education and Promotion. Prior to her career at CDC/ATSDR, she worked with the Georgia Department of Human Resources/Division of Public Health as a Statistician compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and preparing written documents, and oral presentations using vital statistics data. Currently, she works as Deputy Branch Chief/Epidemiologist for the Epidemiology and Surveillance in the Division of Viral Hepatitis. Dr. King, received her undergraduate degree in Social Sciences from the University of California at Irvine in 1993, MSPH. in Biostatistics from Loma Linda University in 1995, and her PhD from the University of Alabama, Birmingham in Health Education and Health Promotion, in 2013.
