December 2011-present-Senior Health Scientist,Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of Adolescent and School Health, Research Application and Evaluation Branch Adolescent Sexual Health Team April 2002-December 2011- Behavioral Scientist, CDC, Division of STD Prevention, Behavioral Interventions and Research Branch April 2000- April 2002- Post Doctoral Fellow, Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine, University of Alabama at Birmingham and CDC Responsible for development and implementation of research projects related to adolescent sexual health including the impact of HPV vaccination on adolescent sexual behavior, parental attitudes about adolescent sexual behavior, and evaluation of a school-based social marketing campaign to promote STD and HIV testing. Technical expert in programmatic and research projects on adolescent sexual health and school-based programs. Author or coauthor of 43 publications and book chapters primarily relating to adolescent sexual health and HPV vaccine acceptability issues. Numerous presentations at scientific meetings.
