Biographical Sketch:
2011-present – Behavioral Scientist, CDC, National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention, Atlanta, GA - Lead for the Partner Services project for the Health Department Monitoring and Evaluation Team in the Program Evaluation Branch in the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention. Responsible for monitoring and evaluating Partner Services data for 61 health departments. - Subject Matter Expert during national guidelines development for HIV Testing in Non-Clinical Settings and Linkage to Health and Preventive Services with staff from the Divisions of HIV/AIDS Prevention and STD Prevention. 2005-08 – Project Director, Department of Community Health, Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA - Developed, distributed and evaluated HIV prevention materials for Project RHAPS (Recognizing HIV and Alcohol Prevention Strategies), a research project involving young males in detention centers. 2001-04 – Lead Health Educator, Healthy Start Initiative, Catholic Charities, Fort Worth TX - Developed curriculums and instructed culturally appropriate classes on HIV and STD prevention to pregnant women. Author or coauthor of several publications and a book chapter primarily relating to HIV prevention. Numerous presentations at scientific meetings.
