Biographical Sketch:
Ms. Andee Krasner, MPH, has over 12 years of experience working in public health. She provides evaluation and data management support to community-based organizations and state health departments. She has worked as a Project Coordinator for the JSI HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) Data Center. As part of her work with HRSA, she analyzed qualitative and quantitative data collected to answer questions about Ryan White grantees’ data collection and reporting capacity and technical assistance needs. As a result of the assessment, Data Academy, a series of Web-based training modules for Ryan White grantees to build skills in collecting, using, sharing and reporting data was created (www.careacttarget.org/dataacademy). Ms. Krasner served as editor and module author for it. She also developed webcasts and other written materials and provided individualized TA to support data-related TA needs as well. She has provided TA and training to over 40 community-based organizations and health departments on reporting requirements, data collection, and use of the data system PEMS in her roles as a Regional Lead for the CDC National HIV Prevention Program Monitoring and Evaluation (NHM&E) program. Currently she is the coordinator of the Region I Infertility Prevention Project, where in addition to project management, she oversees reporting regional Chlamydia monitoring data to CDC.
