2007 - Present-- Assistant Professor of Health Education, Hostos Community College, City University of New York, Bronx, N.Y, In addition to teaching and developing health education courses, conduct health disparity research.
2008 - 2009 - Program Planner Consultant for the New York City Department of Health Bureau of HIV, provided policy analysis and program evaluation for HIV treatment programs citywide
2007-2008- Program Consultant for the Latino Commission on AIDS, responsible for the spearheading of a community based participatory HIV/STD prevention intervention for Latinas living in New York City. Disseminated research findings at that International AIDS conference in Mexico City, Mexico
2003-2004- Fulbright Fellow Brazil, conducted a comparative analysis of the Brazilian National AIDS program and the HIV services in the United States
