2005-present -- Associate Professor, Computer Information Systems/IT, NC State University, Raleigh, NC
1998-2005 -- Assistant Professor, Computer Information Systems/IT, NC State University, Raleigh, NC
Responsible for teaching, research and service in the computer information systems/IT curriculum; selected as an American Council on Education Fellow (2010) & worked with an HBCU on its health care research strategy for scholarship and interdisciplinary programs
Principal investigator research related to on social media, HIV and Black college students, particularly Black females
Responsible for data collection, web content and data analyses related to above project and others on health disparities, particularly HIV
Numerous awards and citations for health care research and mentoring underrepresented students in STEM domain
Author or coauthor of 40 publications and book chapters primarily relating to health care, HIV, technology implications , digital divides and health/social policy
Editor of Health Systems, 2011-present
Numerous presentations at scientific meetings.
