Biographical Sketch:
2013 - Present -- Chronic Disease Epidemiologist, CDC, NC Division of Public Health, Raleigh, NC.
Responsible for analyzing and interpreting science-based data to assess the burden of chronic disease and to assess the distribution and risk factors for those health outcomes.
2011- 2013 -- Epidemic Intelligence Service Office, CDC, National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention, Office of Health Equity.
Conducted comprehensive reviews of scientific evidence related to social determinants of health and selected diseases of the Center, identifying limitations of research findings and next steps to rectify knowledge gaps.
