Dr. Patterson-Rose specializes in reproductive health; sexually transmitted infections; and community outreach.
COMMUNITY SERVICE/OUTREACH
2007 - 2008 Urban League of Long Island: Tutoring, Adolescent Health Education
2/2012: Oral Cancer and HPV. Presentation to middle school students at a local elementary school
2012 -present: Reproductive health education sessions to adolescent females at the Hamilton County Juvenile Court Work Detail Program.
8/2012 and 8/2013: Co-developed and managed a women’s health fair at the 2012 Midwest Black Family Reunion. Focus included Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Body Mass Index and Blood Pressure screening (2012 only) as well as education about various health topics.
