Biographical Sketch:
Pursuing PhD in SunRise University, Alwar, Rajasthan, India in Microbiology (2012 onwards) thesis entitled “In vitro study of synergistic, additive, indifferent or antagonistic effects of various antimicrobial combinations in multi drug and extensively drug resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae strains.”

I worked in ICMR project entitled “Establishment of networking for Neisseria gonorrhoeae surveillance in India” from 2011- October 2013 at Apex Regional STD Teaching, Training & Research Centre VMMC & Safdarjang Hospital New Delhi, India. I was also involved in the laboratory based diagnosis and surveillance of antimicrobial resistance in Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Activities of Gonococcal Antimicrobial Surveillance Programme (GASP) in South-East Asia Region (WHO-GASP-SEAR) like workshops etc, National External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS) of Gonococcal Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing, EQAS of Syphilis Serology and HIV testing.
Author or co-author of 5 publications, 3 in International Journals, 2 in Indian Journals.
Presented 2 papers and was co-author in 4 papers presented by others.
Participant in 8 workshops/conferences on STIs and HIV/AIDS.
Resource person in 2 workshops, WHO inter-country and National workshop under GASP-SEAR program.
Member of Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists.
