Biographical Sketch:
2001-present -- Senior Epidemiologist, US Army Public Health Command, Disease Epidemiology Program. 1999-2001 -- Epidemiology Fellow, US Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine, Disease and Injury Control Program. 1997-1998 -- Data Analyst, University of Alabama, Division of Infectious Disease, STD Program Responsible for management and analysis of military health data to assess disease occurrence, trends, and risk factors (1999 to present). Support Army outbreak investigations and routine surveillance activities (1999 to present). Manage STI analytic studies within the Army Disease epidemiology program (2001 to present). Represent the Army as an expert consultant on STI surveillance in working groups and at national meetings (2005 to present). Author or coauther of 23 publications and book chapters, primarily relating to STIs, acute respiratory infections and other diseases that impact military populations. Numerous presentations at scientific meetings.
