2001-present Consultant Physician in genitourinary medicine, Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Medicine, Leeds School of Medicine
2004-13 Chair, National Chlamydia Screening Advisory Group for Department of Health
Author or co-author of over 50 publications and 3 book chapters plus numerous poster presentations at national and international meetings.
Reviewer for 6 academic journals and on editorial board of international Journal of STD&AIDS.
Member of the fpa Achiever's Club- a nominated group of 100 UK individuals recognised as having made significant contributions over a number of years to improving the sexual health of the UK.
