1998–Present -- Medical Officer, CDC, Division of TB Elimination
Conceptualized the implementation of regional TB collaboration and helped found the New England TB Consortium
Initiated and co-chaired the CDC / ICE-DHS policy work group on TB
Principal investigator on epidemiologic and evaluation studies on TB in children, in correctional facilities, and among foreign-born persons
Numerous awards as a Captain in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service
Author or coauthor of 46 publications and book chapters
