2012- Present --Assistant Professor, Department of Epidemiology, College of Public Health and Health Professions, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL 2009-2012 --Assistant Professor, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health, University of Maryland, College Park, MD 2007-2009 --National Institute on Drug Abuse Fellowship, National Development and Research Institutes, New York, NY Published over 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles pertaining to HIV/sexually transmitted infections (STI) risk, criminal justice involvement, population mobility and substance use. Author or coauthor of 33 peer-reviewed abstracts to various international and national conferences of public health, drug dependence, and HIV/STI related research. Current primary investigator in ongoing studies, both domestic and abroad. Been an invited speaker on numerous occasions to various universities and organizations to present on HIV/STI risk taking and drug-related behaviors. Currently engaged in PhD mentorship and partakes in peer review of eight scientific journals.
