Biographical Sketch:
Research assistant on a project entitled, “Impact of first few relationships in young African American Men Who Have Sex with Men,” with Dr. Renata Sanders at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Volunteer with Adolescent Prevention Programs at the Children's National Medical Center, Washington D.C. and Moveable Feast, a food pantry for HIV-positive individuals in Baltimore city. Served as the president of the Hopkins Organization of Pre-Health Education and vice-president of the Latino Pre-Health Honor Society. Recipient of multiple national scholarships, including the Gates Millennium Scholarship and member of the Student National Medical Association.
