Biographical Sketch:
1993-2000: Head of STI/AIDS/Microbiology Unit at “CERRHUD” (Centre for Research in Human Reproduction and Demography) Cotonou, Benin. 1996-2000: Acting Head of the Unit of Database Management and data analysis in CERRHUD Cotonou. 1997-2000: Head of the Department of Reproductive Health at the NGO “GRAFED” (Research, Action and Training in Epidemiology and Development). 2000-2002: Health Advisor at the Benin country office of PLAN International. 2004-2007: Co-PI and Site Coordinator in Benin for the CONRAD microbicide Phase III clinical trial 2006-2007: Director of the Health Research Office, Ministry of Health, Benin. June 2012 to date: Coordinator of the project “Équité en Santé sexuelle et reproductive” (Equity in sexual and reproductive health) (a Canadian project targeting female sex workers in Benin (West Africa)). Author or co-author of 10 publications, primarily on STI/HIV 7 oral presentations at international scientific conferences. During my researcher career, I have been involved in 13 research projects funded by various international institutions. I held the position of PI for 2 and Co-PI for 3 of them.
