Biographical Sketch:
2012-present -- Research Assistant, Department of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, University of Washington, Seattle, WA 2010-12 -- Public Health Associate, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Public Health Associates Program, Atlanta, GA Susana is currently a Master of Public Health student at the University of Washington. In her role as research assistant, she is responsible for project management of STI self testing project for HIV-positive men who have sex with men (2012-present). In her previous work, Susana was assigned to Yolo County Health Department in CA to work as a CDC Public Health Associate. There, she worked in the HIV/STI prevention and Emergency Preparedness programs. She was responsible for county HIV/STI surveillance and data analysis. She wrote the county's first STI report on chlamydia and gonorrhea trends. She also drafted the health department's Continuity of Operations Plan.
