Biographical Sketch:
Nigel Field (BSc, MPH, MB PhD, MFPH) is a NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Public Health and Infectious Disease Epidemiology in the Research Department of Infection and Population Health. His doctoral training was in virology and molecular biology, funded by the MRC, as a MB PhD student at UCL. He is also a Public Health registrar within London Deanery and undertakes regular clinical work in the Mortimer Market Centre Sexual Health Clinic. Since 2008, he has been part of the National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles (Natsal-3) study team, and since 2012 has worked on the Infection and Immunity enhancement to Life Study. He is a member of the Marie Stopes International Ethics Review Committee, and works with the National Centre for Infectious Disease Surveillance and Control, Public Health England.
