Biographical Sketch:
I have over 8 years of experience working in Monitoring and Evaluation of HIV/ AIDS and health programs and another 4 years as a primary care physician. I have authored peer reviewed articles which include one on an HIV Counseling and Testing Information system that I led its development in AIDS. We used the concept of Total Quality Management to improve the quality of data that was collected on the program from the point of generation to the point of archiving. I also authored an article which was published in Exchange on HIV/ AIDS, Sexuality and Gender titled "Nigerian age mismatch in sex relations". This article discussed the difference observed in the median age among men and women presenting with HIV in Nigeria. This paper utilized routine project data to corroborate the findings from the National sentinel surveillance report. The publication discussed the problem and the factors that are promoting this problem. Both articles can be reached through the links below. 1) Makinde OA, Ezomike CF, Lehmann HP, Ibanga IJ.
