Responsible for STD surveillance activities in King County (2013-present).
My research and public health practice work focus on increasing awareness of HIV status and engagement in HIV care. I am responsible for STD surveillance activities for King County and serve as the epidemiologist for a program utilizing surveillance and partner services to increase HIV testing, linkage to care, and retention in HIV care in Washington State. I am also coordinating a randomized, controlled trial of home self-testing for HIV infection among men who have sex with men.
