Biographical Sketch:
I worked clinically in prevention and control of STIs including HIV, in chest infections and diseases, rheumatology, and dermatology both in the UK and Zimbabwe before joining UNAIDS and then WHO in 1996. I assumed various high-level positions in the ministry of health, city health departments and private sector companies in Zimbabwe before joining the UN agencies. My most recent position prior to retirement was f was Medical Officer and Coordinator for the global prevention and control of STIs for the WHO`s Department of Reproductive Health and Research in Geneva.
