Biographical Sketch:
He is a data scientist at Google and a contributing op-ed writer at The New York Times.  He uses new big data sources to 
uncover previously hidden behaviors and attitudes.  His studies include quantifying the 
cost of racism against Obama; calculating the hidden increase in child abuse from the Great Recession; and estimating the true prevalence of homosexuality, including the millions of closeted gay men.  He received his PhD in economics from Harvard.
