Biographical Sketch:
1994-1999 Epidemiologist, New Mexico State Department of Health, AIDS Surveillance Unit Responsible for HIV/AIDS Surveillance, Supplement to HIV/AIDS Surveillance (SHAS) Project, HIV Testing Survey (HITS) and collaborated on HIV & Viral Hepatitis serosurveillance activities. 1999-2011 Epidemiologist III, Washington State Department of Health, Infectious Disease & Reproductive Health Assessment Unit Washington State's STD and HIV-Care Epidemiologist responsible for analysis, interpretation and reporting of STD morbidity, trends and special studies including Ooutcomes Assessment through Systems of Integrated Surveillance (OASIS), Performance Measures Evaluation Project, STD Surveillance Network (SSuN) cycles I & II, Community-level evaluation of Expedited Partner Therapy (EPT), HIV Never in Care (NIC) project, Evaluation of Integrating HIV Surveillance with Geographic Information System (HIV-GIS) and collabroation in development of web-based STD Surveillance systems. 2011 - Present, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Division of STD Prevention, Epidemiology & Surveillance Branch, Surveillance & Special Studies Team.
