Biographical Sketch:
March 2009-Present, Health Scientist, Division of STD Prevention, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA 2007-April 2009, ORISE Fellow, Division of STD Prevention, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA Conference Coordinator for the 2016 STD Prevention Conference. Project Officer on the development of a mobile app for homeless youth and their providers. (2013-present) Coordinate collegiate outreach for the award winning GYT: Get Yourself Tested campaign which promotes STD testing and conversations around sexual health among youth and young adults. (2009 - present) Project Officer on Behind-the-Counter Emergency Contraception: Exploring Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Testing in the Pharmacy Setting study. Responsible for expansion of the study to include partnership with Iwantthekit.org. (2010 - present) Analyzed NSFG data exploring sexual and STD screening behaviors of emergency contraception users, under review. Numuerous presentations and posters at scientific meetings.
