Biographical Sketch:
Assistant Professor, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Division of General Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, Division Chair, Dr. Tina Cheng; Department Chair, Dr. George Dover; Full-time; July, 2007 - Current Adolescent Medicine Fellow 2004-2007 She has served as a consultant to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as representative for Maryland Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics to the Maryland General Assembly to make recommendations regarding HIV testing laws in Maryland, and has worked with the Baltimore City Health Department to evaluate innovative testing strategies in African American men who have sex with men (MSM). She project director for the Johns Hopkins Adolescent Trials Network Site, has 16 peer-reviewed publications, and has received awards from the Ambulatory Pediatric Association/Agency for Healthcare Research Quality, the National Institutes of Health and the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections highlighting her research activities.
