Biographical Sketch:
I am Professor of Social Sciences and Health Policy with appointments in the Section on Infectious Diseases; and the Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity, Wake Forest School of Medicine. (Professor: 2010-present; Associate Professor: 2006-2010; Assistant Professor: 2003-2006).
I am PI of multiple NIH and CDC studies particularly focusing on HIV prevention within immigrant Latino communities and sexual minority communities. I have published >100 peer-reviewed papers on CBPR and HIV prevention.
