2015-present -- Acting Instructor, University of Washington, Department of Medicine 2013-present -- Epidemiologist, Public Health - Seattle & King County, HIV/STD Program, Seattle, WA 2013-2015 -- Research Scientist, University of Washington, Department of Medicine, Seattle, WA 2003-2006 -- Program Analyst (Human Subjects Protections & Research Integrity), National Institutes of Health, Office of Extramural Research, Bethesda, MD My research and public health practice work focus on increasing awareness of HIV status and improving access to interventions across the HIV care and prevention continuum. I am responsible for STD surveillance activities for King County and co-lead efforts to evaluate the use of partner services to increase HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis, HIV testing, linkage to care, and retention in HIV care in Washington State. I recently coordinated a randomized, controlled trial of home self-testing for HIV infection among men who have sex with men and am working with mathematical modelers to identify optimal HIV self-testing strategies in this population.
