1995-2014--Community Health Supervisor, Manchester Health Department, Manchester, NH
Responsible for expanding the scope and reach of infectious disease prevention services within existing health care systems. Developed and implements the Public Health Detailing Program, which provides an assessment of provider practices related to HIV/STD/HCV/TB screening and treatment. Provides education on current clinical practice guidelines for community providers and evaluates the need for technical assistance. Assists with contract monitoring for healthcare organizations providing STD/HIV/HCV/TB services. Oversees the Viral Hepatitis Program and training and education initiatives related to HIV/STD/HCV (2014-Present).
Responsible for the management of the Community Health Division of a large municipal health department, including program and budgetary management. Provided oversight of several public health programs including STD/HIV/HCV Clinics, the Immunization Program, Refugee Health Program, TB Control and communicable disease control (1995-2014).
Presenter on the Public Health Detailing Program as a strategy to improve health outcomes at numerous conferences and health care provider groups (2014-Present)
Lead presenter at numerous workshops and conferences on improving infectious disease outcomes through screening, treatment and reporting (2014-Present)
