•Led formative evaluation to assess barriers to scale-up of a novel dual HIV/syphilis rapid diagnostic test in Malawi.
Responsible for providing program evaluation-related technical assistance and guidance to federally funded state and local health departments for STD prevention and control.
•Chair of the Syphilis Prevention Stakeholder Group and facilitated implementation of behavioral interventions to increase syphilis screening efforts targeted towards men who have sex with men (MSM).
•Managed the implementation and evaluation of a behavioral surveillance study among HIV-infected MSM at two local HIV clinics.
•Conducted key informant interviews with physicians, local and state health department officials, community-based organization staff, and community members with insight into the local MSM community.
