E5: E5 - Hepatitis C Education and Care for Veterans

This workshop will focus on education and knowledge of hepatitis C among veterans with chronic HCV infection, including pre- and post-test results around educational classes. In addition, experience with an alcohol intervention toolkit for use in various clinic settings where veterans are seen will be presented.
Learning Objectives: A. Outline strategies for hepatitis prevention for infants, children, adolescents, and adults. D. Describe methods for integrating and evaluating viral hepatitis prevention services into existing programs. E. Identify and access communication, education, and training needs and available resources for viral hepatitis prevention and control; evaluate the effectiveness of education and training methods.
