S4: Breakfast Panel - Developing and Implementing State Viral Hepatitis Prevention Plans

Viral Hepatitis Prevention Plans play an important role in the strategy to control and prevent viral hepatitis. These plans provide the road map for prioritizing development of prevention activities, for integrating hepatitis prevention activities into existing public health programs and for obtaining resources to achieve implementation of prevention activities. The speakers in the workshop will provide information about the development and implementation of their State Viral Hepatitis Prevention Plans discuss the accomplishments to date, and the lessons learned.
Learning Objectives: A. Outline strategies for hepatitis prevention for infants, children, adolescents, and adults D. Describe methods for integrating and evaluating viral hepatitis prevention services into existing programs. E. Identify and access communication, education, and training needs and available resources for viral hepatitis prevention and control; evaluate the effectiveness of education and training methods.
