D3: Nursing Initiatives and Roles in Immunization Practice | |||
| This workshop will focus on nursing roles and initiatives that have increased awareness and knowledge among health-care providers and their communities about immunizations across the lifespan. Three initiatives in particular will be highlighted: the National Network of Immunization Nurses and Associates (NNINA), the School Nurse Immunization Promotion Program (SNIPP) and the Immunization Nursing Network Provider Outreach Web Education and Resources (INNPOWER). | |||
| Learning Objectives: At the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to state how three nursing initiatives, NNINA, SNIPP, and INNPOWER, provide access to accurate and timely immunization information.
