C15: Computer-Based Applications: Web-Based Tools for Immunization Program Management

Presenters will demonstrate examples of web-base tools used to track and manage immunization program data. These examples include the WellCareTracker™ for early educators to track preventive care; HAL, an Access database, created to track provider information for the Virginia Vaccines For Children program; and the vaccine formulary selection algorithm which determines a formulary of lowest overall cost to support vaccine purchasing decisions.
Learning Objectives: After attending this workshop, participants should be able to describe the purpose and benefits of these Internet-based software applications.
